No they allow commercials before any video footage. This is BS. Deleted the app. The news is not as important as they think they are.

The alerts were getting crazy.....sports scores is not breaking news to me. Wish they had the option to choose specific alerts. Ads on every video u click got old. The side ads place more ads on top of ads caused my app to crash. Looks like the app has not been updated since 2013. So i deleted. Try out ktla app. Reviews seem better.

I like your app, well organized and easy to navigate, definitely the best local news app that I have used.

Features articles that are more than a year old. Hardly news at all.

I can open and read all news alerts, but when I get on the website I try to email an article to a friend, it takes me out of the App. Anyone else having this problem? ABC - fix it!

Have loved this app but now Midas pop-up add hijacks app. You cannot get rid of it by "x" and it demands my consent for location-really for Midas. Cannot access news at all.

I like the notifications they send when something big happens, but they really need more work on this app. Sometimes it wont let me get in the app. It will take 5 minutes to load and then its gone. Whenever I try to watch a video it either takes forever to load or closes the app. Its much faster to watch the videos on Facebook. They will send me a notification to read the story about whatever and when I click on it the story isnt there.....

I used to like this app but now its loaded with 3rd party junk news and ads that are hard to avoid and once open make it impossible to get back to the news. The only solution is to delete the app and reinstall it - a temporary solution until the problem strikes again. And they make it almost impossible to write a review. After its written they delete it saying the nickname you picked has been taken & you have to start over. Better to tell people if nickname approved and they can proceed with review from the start. Probably a way for them to avoid one star reviews.

The breaking news notifications are great but there needs to be a way to turn off programming notifications...every day it gives me notifications to watch at 4pm, etc. very annoying

The latest update reminds me of tabloid, not news. Please revert back to your former settings.

Piece of crap app!!! Too slow for every for every thing inside app. Too many unwanted pop ups. Freezes constantly.

Using the app on a iPhone 6s for 3 months.

Im tired of deleting this app time after time due to ads which pop up with no way to get back to the news. An ad will pop up and the only way to get back to the news is to DELETE the app and download it again and Im tired of it.

After 21 attempts, this will not download. It reads "open", but does nothing. Terrible!

Alerts use to be my favorite thing. Now they always go strait to the live news feed. Problem is if you dont open the alerts immediately, theyre useless. In the past it would open the storys page. Now I have no use for alerts.

This app had an recent update installed after the iOS update and the performance of the app is still unreliable....watching any full screen video from the news app causes the app to freeze requiring a complete shutdown and restart of the app.

This new update makes the app unusable. First, I dont want video ALL the time - I read news in quiet places, video is inappropriate. And the other stories just wont open. Zero stars.

Fix the video freezing problems or plan on losing thousands of viewers. The app builders should be working overtime to fix this problem if they are not, fire them. And hire someone who will fix this app in a timely manner. I like the app when it works but Im losing my patience.
